What do you think of busy Children?
On the one hand parents have to work more hours than ten years ago because they need more money to afford all their necessities. And they can not spend much time with them as it happened before.
On the other hand some parents have much money and push their children into a lot of activities to keep them constantly entertained and occupied. They might not want to spend time with them because of their bad behaviour. But the problem is that children finish every year very stressed.
Chilhood is the best time of life to learn but they should enjoy it and have the time to relax and share with their parents.

Opinion Piece about 'Busy children'

What happens when theirs parents get them full of entreteinment? Is it good or bad for their health?

Many doctors specialized in children, state that childhood is the most important time of the life of a person and because of that they have to spend it in a healthy way. Mother and father should keep company them in this part of their lives.
Parents need to encourage children to do any activity out of school, such as sports or playing some instrument, but the most important thing is that they have to do something that they want and enjoy. But, to be a busy child has good points: they probably have more opportunities in the future, for example, to get a job or a wide range or knowledge to solve problems.
In the end, the more you know, the more free you will be.

Opinion piece: ´What do you think of busy children?'

There are some kids who have to do a lot of things because their parents believe they must give them the chance of chosing what they want. Besides, they do not want to push their children into activities just because they like or enjoy them. (Jesica Avile)

It is important to let our children to choose by themselves, because they must be happy with the activity they are doing. Extra activities ought to be a time to get fun and not to be bored or unhappy. (Carla Magnetti)

Conversaly, a lack of of playtime can create stress for children and parents, and could even contribute to depression in many children. The key is to ensure that the kids and parents aren´t overwhelmed. In this way we can get to a balance between activity and rest. (Daiana Villán)

First Year

With First year we prepared a pre-reading activity about the novel that we are going to read throughout the first part of the year: Theseus and the Minotaur. The children decorated the classroom with pictures of both characters and a description of each one.

PREPARATORY 2

The children prepared two posters to decorate the classroom after learning the months of the year and the days of the week. They wrote their birthdays on it for all of us to remember.
